The MM612 is a 600 watt inverter designed to accommodate entertainment systems and small appliances in smaller RV's and boats. The MM612 does not include an internal battery charger. However, it does includes the internal AC transfer relay, which allows the incoming AC power to pass-thru and power the AC loads. When the AC power is removed, this inverter continues to power the AC loads using power from the battery.
